Focusing on future-forward design.

What we do

At home in Melbourne, we design and create pieces that make your space feel truly special.

By combining smart machines with human creativity, we’re able to push the boundaries of what’s possible in design. From functional planters to character-filled lamps, every piece is crafted with care and attention to detail.
Our process lets us play with shape, texture, and material in ways traditional manufacturing can’t. Each design is made to order — unique, tactile, and thoughtfully produced. We believe home décor should do more than just function; it should reflect your style, spark warmth, and make your home feel like home.

Who is Pocket?

Pocket is a cat — a very cute one, at that.

She reminds me to slow down and appreciate the simple things. Pocket loves nothing more than sitting back and watching the world go by, and that quiet rhythm inspired a culture of slow living — and a mission to light up the spaces around us. Her calm way of life nudged me to think differently, to design with patience and intention. Every piece I create carries a bit of that spirit — a reminder to pause, take it slow, and find beauty in the everyday.

Materials

We're all about using materials that help us do better for the planet. We opt for earth-friendly choices, using a plant-based polymer for all our products.

Production

Additive manufacturing accelerates the transition from idea to physical product. Our products are exclusively fabricated, assembled, and dispatched from our Melbourne studio, reducing waste and emissions compared to mass manufacturing.

Behind Pocket

Hey! I’m Aki, the creator behind Pocket Picked It. I've always loved lamps, but with loving lighting I’ve always been the one to notice the harsh overhead lights - the dreaded big lights - and obsess over finding the perfect light setup to solve it. Honestly, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve paused a movie just to adjust the room lighting.
This passion for creating a cosy, welcoming home is what led me down the path of designing lamps, planters, and all sorts of home decor. Once I discovered 3D printing, I was hooked. The possibilities were endless, and I knew I had to dive in.
I'm fortunate to be able to guide these ideas from concept and designing, to 3D modeling and production, bringing these creations to life. I’m constantly tweaking and improving, making sure each piece adds that extra bit of warmth and character to your space.

Because for me, it's all about creating something that makes a home feel like home.
