Big Yellow Lamp
Some lamps arrive with the adapter already attached to the shade.
Bubble Lamp
- Your Bubble Lamp comes ready to go. Just plug in and switch on.
- The shade lifts off the base. If it ever comes off, flex one side of the shade around the base and it'll snap back on.
Cosmo Pendant Lamp
- Your cord and bulb come already fitted. Just check the bulb is screwed in snugly.
- Pick your spot within reach of a power point. The 6 metre cable gives you room to run it across the ceiling and down the wall.
- Screw the hooks into a ceiling joist or timber beam, or use plasterboard anchors.
- Make sure each hook is secure before you hang the lamp on it.
- Hang the cable over the first hook at the height you want, then use the other hooks to guide the cable across to the wall.
- Plug in and switch on. Give the hooks a gentle tug now and then to check they're still firm.
Astro Pendant Lamp
Make sure the ceiling hook is secure before you hang the lamp on it. Depending on your ceiling, you may need anchors.

Do
- ✓Dust with a soft, dry cloth. A soft paintbrush gets into the printed ridges.
- ✓For marks, use a barely damp cloth with a drop of mild dish soap, then dry straight away.
- ✓Lamps: switch off, unplug and let the bulb cool first.
Avoid
- ✕Dishwashers, soaking or hot water.
- ✕Acetone, nail polish remover, bleach, scourers or abrasive sprays.
PLA piecesMost of our range
Our plant-based material, made from corn. Sturdy day to day, but it doesn't like heat.
Do
- ✓Keep it somewhere that stays comfortable year round.
- ✓If it ever goes soft or out of shape, let it cool where it is and send us a message below.
Avoid
- ✕Hot cars, even for the trip home on a warm day.
- ✕Harsh afternoon sun, like a west-facing windowsill in summer. It can also fade colours.
- ✕Heaters, fireplaces, ovens and stovetops.
PETG shadesPleaty, Super Pleaty, Astro, Cloud
What gives our clear and frosted shades their glow. Handles warmth better than PLA, but shows scuffs more.
Do
- ✓Use a microfibre cloth, slightly damp for fingerprints, then buff dry.
- ✓Light scuffs: a clear-plastic polish (the kind for car headlights) on microfibre, in small gentle circles. Test a hidden spot first.
Avoid
- ✕Paper towel or rough cloths. They leave fine scratches.
- ✕Sandpaper or heat guns. Deep scratches can't be polished out.
- ✕Hot cars and heaters.
Bulbs, cords and pendantsEvery lamp
LED bulbs only, 3W maxYour lamp comes with the right bulb. If you replace it, match the fitting under Specifications (Bulb Type). A hotter bulb can warp the shade.
Do
- ✓Unplug before changing a bulb, and let it cool first.
- ✓Pendants (Astro, Cosmo, Otto): check the ceiling hooks are still firm now and then. Some ceilings need anchors.
- ✓Mini Bubble has a built-in LED, so there's no bulb to change.
Avoid
- ✕Water or sprays near the socket, switch or plug.
- ✕Pulling the lamp by its cord or kinking the braided cable. If a cable is damaged, stop using the lamp and send us a message below.
- ✕Outdoors or damp spaces.
Pots and plantersSelene, Slurpwell
Do
- ✓Water away. All our pots are watertight.
- ✓Tip out old water from the reservoir now and then and rinse with lukewarm soapy water.
Avoid
- ✕Outdoors. Sun and weather will fade and weaken them.
- ✕Dishwashers or boiling water.
Vases and desk piecesWavy Vase, Pen Buddy
Do
- ✓Fill the Wavy Vase with dried or faux flowers.
- ✓Dust with a soft, dry brush to get into the waves.
Avoid
- ✕Water. The Wavy Vase is not watertight.
