Focusing on future-forward design.
What we do
At home in Melbourne, we’re passionate about creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces that make your space feel special. By blending advanced robotics, human creativity, and innovative 3D printing technology, we’re able to push the boundaries of design. From functional planters to quirky, eye-catching lamps, each piece is crafted with care and attention to detail.
Our process allows us to experiment with shapes, textures, and materials in a way that traditional manufacturing can’t. Every item we create is designed to elevate your living space, whether you're looking to add a touch of personality or simply improve the ambiance of a room. We believe that home decor should not only be functional but also reflect your style, which is why each piece is unique and made to order, giving your home that perfect, personalized touch.
Who is Pocket?
Pocket is a cat—a very cute one, at that. She helps me embrace the simplicity of life and the idea of slow living. Pocket loves nothing more than sitting back and watching the world go by, which sparked the inspiration for a culture of slow living and a mission to light up the spaces around us.
Her relaxed approach to life pushes me to think outside the box (and into 3D design), creating pieces that feel special. Pocket is a reminder to pause, take it slow, and appreciate the beauty in our everyday surroundings.
Materials
We're all about using materials that help us do better for the planet. We opt for earth-friendly choices, using a plant-based polymer for all our products.
Production
Additive manufacturing accelerates the transition from idea to physical product. Our products are exclusively fabricated, assembled, and dispatched from our Melbourne studio, reducing waste and emissions compared to mass manufacturing.
Behind Pocket
Hey, I’m Aki, the creator behind Pocket Picked It. I’ve always been the one to notice the harsh overhead lighting - the dreaded big lights - and obsess over finding the perfect light setup to solve it. Honestly, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve paused a movie just to adjust the room lighting.
This passion for creating a cozy, welcoming home is what led me down the path of designing lamps, planters, and all sorts of home decor. Once I discovered 3D printing, I was hooked. The possibilities were endless, and I knew I had to dive in.
Now, I handle everything – from sketching and designing to 3D modeling and bringing these creations to life. I’m constantly tweaking and improving, making sure each piece adds that extra bit of warmth and character to your space. Because for me, it's all about creating something that makes a home feel like home.
