Pocket Picked It is a Melbourne-based design studio creating slow living lighting and décor.
Inspired by the easy living of my cat, Pocket, our pieces are designed to turn houses into warm, fun, and deeply individual homes. We believe in thoughtful design, blending modern technology with a human touch.

Created using additive manufacturing in our small-batch Melbourne studio, every piece is made to order with care and precision. This approach keeps waste low and creativity high — resulting in subtle variations in texture and tone that make each item one of a kind. Designed, produced, and assembled entirely in-studio, from start to finish.

Your lamps are plant-based?
That's right! Almost all our home things are made from PLA, a biopolymer made from corn.

Do I need to assemble anything?
Our lamps come in a couple pieces to reduce postage costs for you. Its very straight-forward but if you have any trouble have look at this guide.
Can I replace the bulb?
Yes! Most Pocket lamps use replaceable LED bulbs. Check out specifications for more information on bulb type.
Do the lamps work with smart bulbs?
Yes, most of our lamps work with smart bulbs, including Phillips Hue and LIFX. Send us a message if you want to double check!
Can I get a custom colour or design?

I purchased the Mocha Lamp wanting something Australian made and a bit unusual. Well unique it is and I love it! The lamp throws a beautiful warm glow and is the perfect size for my kitchen bench top. Was very impressed with the packaging it came in so carefully wrapped (which will be reused) and the overall ethos of this little company. The Mocha Lamp (aka Booby lamp) is fantastic...thank you!

Love everything about ths lamp
Love the lamp it's beautiful, but I was a bit upset about paying for priority production and postage and then waiting 3 weeks for the lamp to be made and posted as the business owner was away from the studio so I basically paid extra money for nothing
